The Conflict LensTM measures strategies and behaviors individuals use in managing conflict.  Unlike other conflict instruments, The Conflict Lens does not measure one conflict resolution "style"; rather, it allows a person to evaluate how they addressed real conflicts in the past so they can see new options for managing conflict in the future.

Conflict resolution cannot be addressed with simple prescriptions.  One approach does not fit all conflicts.  Our instrument allows a person to see their options for managing conflict from a behavioral perspective.  By viewing conflicts in hindsight, one develops a greater conflict resolution repertoire.

The Conflict Lens is available in 19 languages and has been used in North and South America, Eastern and Western Europe, Australia, Asia, and the Middle East. The data regarding which behaviors lead to constructive outcomes and which lead to destructive outcomes is consistent across countries and cultures. It has been used for many other initiatives in companies besides conflict management such as customer satisfaction, quality, diversity, productivity, communication, leadership, customer service and creativity.
